Chapter 15

It had been almost a week since Ronny had gotten Robyn’s number from Man. He was just now getting around to calling her being that he’d been so busy traveling back and forth to Atlanta. He was in the process of opening another bar and grill there. Shaniqua had called him while he was gone for the week, complaining about Robyn. Supposedly, she had been threatening Destiny about the baby. Of course, Ronny wanted to hop on the next flight but he was calling Robyn’s bluff.

Man had already told Destiny and Shaniqua both that Robyn couldn't make a decision like that without his consent. However, Destiny was upset and scared that they would try to take her baby, and that bothered Shaniqua. She didn’t take too kind to people fucking with her family. Ronny assured her that he would take care of it and made her promise to not call or go by Robyn’s house. He knew how his wife could get and Ronny didn't need her going to jail while he was away. “If you don't handle it when you get back, I'm taking matters into my own hands,” was the last thing Shaniqua said to him the night before.

So, here it was the next day and Ronny had just stepped off the plane. After settling into his car, he headed to the restaurant Robyn agreed to meet him at. Ronny didn't know what he was walking into, but he prayed that he wouldn't have to choke the shit out of Robyn’s ass.

“What’s up?” Ronny said as he took a seat in the booth across from her. The look on Robyn’s face caused Ronny to shake his head. He already knew it was about to be some bullshit. Even with this woman being grown as hell, she was still on some bullshit. See, Robyn had always been about drama from way back in the days. Back then, she stayed in some shit and from the looks of things, nothing had changed.

With a smack of her lips, Robyn said, “Wifey let you out? I can't believe you let that bitch run you like—”

“First of all, all this fucking name calling, dead that shit! That’s my muthafuckin’ wife and I ain't about to sit here and let you or nan other muthafucka call her out her damn name. I don't know nor do I give a fuck what y'all got going on, but I ain't about to sit here and let you talk about her like she ain't the mother of my kids or my gotdamn wife. Now, whatever the fuck y’all got going on, keep that shit between y'all and leave my fucking granddaughter out of the shit! All this threatening or whatever the hell you call yourself doing to Destiny, the shit ends today!”

Ronny was sick of all the childish ass bullshit Robyn and Shaniqua had going on, and he was going to have the same talk with Shaniqua once he got home. There’s an innocent child that they were trying to drag in the bullshit and he wasn't having it.
